Jesus said, "How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?" The Gospel quotes numerous passages from the Torah, the Prophets, and the Psalms (Old Testament of the Bible) about a coming Messiah all of which have been fulfilled at the coming of Jesus and point to His second coming at the end of the age. A careful reading of the Scriptures (Old and New Testaments of the Bible), will reveal that all the prophecies, types and symbolism point to Jesus the Messiah.
